CSRD at a glance

What is the CSRD?

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is an EU regulation aimed at increasing transparency and making companies more accountable for their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. If your company falls under the CSRD, you’ll need to share details about your sustainability efforts.

Who does it apply to?

The CSRD applies to large companies, listed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and financial institutions within the EU. You’ll need to report on how your business affects the environment and society, as well as how sustainability risks impact your financial performance.

What are the main CSRD requirements?

You’ll be required to do a double materiality assessment, report on climate risks, and share data on governance and social issues. All of this needs to follow the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and be included in your annual report.

What is Double Materiality?

Double materiality means looking at sustainability from two angles: how it affects your company’s financial health and how your business impacts the environment and society. This is a key part of your CSRD reporting.

By analysing these key metrics, Alasco enables you to prioritise actions that boost asset value while meeting sustainability goals.

Simplify Data Collection

Alasco simplifies data collection for the CSRD by offering flexible solutions for both quantitative and qualitative data. You can seamlessly integrate consumption data via API for utilities like electricity or heat.
